TorGo — Privacy Policy
TorGo is operated by Sprezza LLC (Illinois, USA). This policy explains what personal information we collect through TorGo — the booking pages, the salon dashboard and this website — how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It covers two groups of people: salon owners who subscribe to TorGo, and booking customers who book appointments at a salon through a TorGo link.
Questions or requests: support@torgoapp.com.
1. What we collect
If you book an appointment (booking customers):
- your name and phone number, as you enter them when booking;
- your booking historywith each salon you book at — every appointment's service, staff member, date and time, and price;
- each booking's status, including cancellations, reschedules, and "no-show" flags a salon may record if it marks you as not having attended an appointment;
- your language preference (Arabic, Hebrew or English), so messages reach you in your language;
- free-text notes your salon writes about you (for example style preferences). These notes are visible only to that salon and to us as its service provider; the salon is responsible for keeping them appropriate and accurate;
- your marketing opt-out status, if you unsubscribe (kept so we never message you again).
If you run a salon on TorGo (salon owners):
- your name, phone number, and business details (salon name, type, address, services, prices, working hours, team member names);
- your plan and billing history. Payment cards are handled by Stripe, our payment processor — the full card number never reaches our servers;
- content you upload, such as a logo and photos.
Technical information (everyone): we use only essential cookies — one to keep salon owners logged in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and troubleshooting.
Providing your details is voluntary, but we can't take a booking without a name and phone number, and we can't operate a salon account without the owner's details. This paragraph, together with this policy, is the notice required by Section 11 of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.
2. How we use it
- Running bookings: showing availability, creating and managing appointments, and preventing double-booking.
- Service messages: sending booking confirmations, reminders, and change or cancellation notices (by WhatsApp where available). These are part of the service and are sent to make your appointment happen.
- Marketing messages on behalf of your salon: salons on our Pro plan can send rebooking suggestions and announcements to their own customers. Every such message includes an unsubscribe link, and once you opt out you will not receive marketing through TorGo again (service messages about your actual bookings are not affected). Salons are required to have the consent mandated by Israeli law (Section 30A of the Communications Law) before sending marketing.
- Reports for your salon: showing the salon its own booking statistics (for example busiest hours and revenue).
- Support, security and legal compliance: answering requests, protecting the service from abuse, and meeting legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use booking customers' details to market anything other than the salon they booked with.
3. Who is responsible for your data
The customer list built through a salon's booking page — names, phone numbers, appointment history and notes — belongs to that salon, which is the "database owner" (controller) under Israeli law. Sprezza LLC holds and processes that data on the salon's behalf to provide the service. For salon owners' own account and billing data, Sprezza LLC is the controller.
4. Who we share it with
- Your salon: the salon you book with sees your name, phone number, and your booking history with them.
- Stripe: processes salon subscription payments under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Messaging providers: messages are delivered through messaging platforms (Meta's WhatsApp Business platform, when in use), which process the message content and phone numbers needed for delivery.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: reputable cloud providers that host our application and database.
- Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: if Sprezza LLC or TorGo is acquired or merged, data may transfer as part of that transaction under this policy's protections.
5. Where your data is stored
TorGo's servers and database are hosted with cloud providers that may store data in the European Union and/or the United States. Transfers of data from Israel are made in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, with providers committed to appropriate contractual and security safeguards. By using TorGo you acknowledge this processing location.
6. How long we keep it, and deletion
- Booking and customer records(your name, phone, history and any notes): kept for as long as the salon's account is active, as part of that salon's business records, and deleted within 90 days after the salon's account closes.
- Salon account data: for the life of the account and up to 3 years after closure, for legal, accounting and dispute purposes.
- Marketing opt-outs: kept indefinitely, so the opt-out is always honored.
- Technical logs: short rotation periods.
If you ask for your details to be deleted— by writing to us or to your salon — we will remove your name, phone number and any notes about you from the salon's records within 30 days. Two things may lawfully survive deletion: records we are required to keep (for example for accounting or dispute purposes), and your marketing opt-out itself, which we keep so you are never messaged again.
7. Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law you may:
- Access the information held about you (Section 13);
- Correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated (Section 14);
- Stop marketing messages at any time — every marketing message has an unsubscribe link, or write to us;
- Complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority if you believe your rights were violated.
To exercise these rights, contact support@torgoapp.com. Where the request concerns a salon's customer records, we may coordinate with, or refer you to, that salon as the data owner. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security
We apply measures consistent with the Israeli Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, including encryption of data in transit, hashed one-time login codes, access controls, and unguessable private links for booking management. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your data occurs we will act and notify as the law requires.
9. Children
TorGo is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Salon accounts are for adults (18+). Appointments for minors should be booked by a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect children's data beyond what a guardian provides for a booking. If you believe a child has provided us data directly, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced via the service, and the date at the top always reflects the latest version.
